Link Adjacent Elements to Text Element
This function is to facilitate the moving and resizing of text elements with image background in PNG format. Let's demonstrate this with an example. We are going to create the following box. The same box will be reused many times on the same page or another pages but with different size.
We do not want to create a new set of images for each size. So we create the following three images. The first one will be created with the maximum length we need. So we have: -
1.
2.
3.
We then create three text elements. Each is applied with a CSS style rule with background images above. The third image need to repeat both horizontally and vertically so that it will fill up the whole text element. After this, we have the followings:
The PNG image of the top left corner is resized to our need. We then move them together to create a box with two rounded corners just like the one shown at the top. To create another box with different width, we need to resize both the top left image and the box below. We also need to move the second image to the right. To facilitate these moves and resizing, you can select the third box and then use this function to link with the above two text elements. Now when you change the width of the third box, the text element at the top left will be resized to match it and the top right element will be moved automatically following the width of it just like the one below.

The selection of which element to be resized follows this rule. If there is only one element, nothing will be resized. If there are two elements, the first one (counting from left to right and top to bottom) will be resized and the second one is moved. If there are more than three elements, the second one will be resized and the other elements after the second one will be moved.
This function can links text elements at the four sides of the selected elements.
