Step 12: Use heading tags

Heading tags such as H1, H2 etc are important for Search Engine Optimization. The following will show how to do this with headings of this page and how to change the style to apply to heading tags.
 
  1. Double click on the text element which is shown below on the page. It will be loaded on the Text Element Editor.
     
  2. The cursor is at the beginning of the text. Select "Heading 1" from the drop down menu on the toolbar.
     
  3. Click the "Save and Close" button.
     
  4. Right click on it again and select "Styles" from the context menu.
     
  5. Select the style "welcome" and click Edit button to open the CSS Style Editor.
     
  6. Select the "Elements tab" and select the option "Heading 1". So this style will only be applied to text within the "Heading 1".
     
  7. You can use the same approach to assign "Heading 2" to subheadings of the page but this time select option "Heading 2" and mark your text by "Heading 2" tag.
